Our Story
Swan Contracting was established in 2012.
The company started as a self-performing electrical firm in Massachusetts under the name Maria Fallon Electrical Services, joining the IBEW Local 103 in Boston, MA in 2013.
The company worked in Massachusetts on state and private projects. In 2015, the company started branching out into general contracting with the federal government.
The company was accepted into the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program in 2015 which fostered its expansion into federal contracting.
Maria Fallon - CEO
Maria Fallon is the CEO/Manager of Swan Contracting. She started her career in the construction field in 2005 as an Electrician Apprentice. Maria became a licensed Journeyman Electrician in 2009 and a Master Electrician in 2010. Maria’s interest was in the business of construction from the beginning which sparked her decision to start her own company in 2012, Maria Fallon Electrical Services. Maria is involved in the management of the projects, daily operations of the company and in marketing/customer relations.
Rebecca Brown - COO
Rebecca Brown is the Chief Operating Officer of Swan Contracting. She has been with the company since its inception in 2012. Becky is involved in the overall management of the company and its projects to ensure completion on time and on budget. She reviews contracts and bids for errors and communicates with subcontractors regarding contracts. In addition, she is involved with interviewing, hiring and conducting performance evaluations for employees and management personnel. She has the following certifications: OSHA 30 hour, EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety & Health and USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors.
Dave Marshall - Senior Vice President
Dave has over 30 years of construction experience. He has over twenty years of experience managing projects and people. Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering as well as his OSHA 30 and STS certificates.
John Dickinson - Senior Project Manager
John has over 15 years with IBEW Local 236 as a journeyman electrician, four years of field supervision and over four years of Project Management. John holds a bachelors degree in Construction management and he is OSHA 30 certified.
